If you are planning to play with one of our Creations on a game version older than 1.6.1130, it is important to do the following:
Creations rely on a newer version of the bsa file in order to function correctly. If you downgrade Skyrim or use a mod collection that auto-downgrades your game, make sure the Skyrim - Misc.bsa file present in your Data folder is from the correct version. If this file is from a version older than 1.6.1130, the Creation will not function correctly and many quests will be broken due to missing scripts.
Note: if you didn't grab the file until after you already started using the Creation and you are encountering problems, you may need to revert to a save from before you installed the Creation.
- Use a trusted downgrader - such as Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Downgrade Patcher.
- Install Backported Extended ESL Support (BEES)
- Get the Skyrim - Misc.bsa file from the newer game version of Skyrim (game version 1.6.1130 or 1.6.1170) and let it overwrite the existing version in your Data folder.
