Could I get some help? "LOOKUP FAILED!" has appeared on my main weapon and all of the legendary effects offered by Jason. Including the ones he sells

Hello Team,

Not sure what has happened and when exactly.

Only thing that has changed is playing through Watchtower.

But now my main weapon has "LOOKUP FAILED" against all of the legendary effects even though they were stock effects and when I check any stocked item of Jason's it says the same for the DLC legendary types.

I have tried disabling, deleting then exiting to main menu. Back in and re-downloading the mod. Putting it back in my load order and trying again while off world but issue remains.

Terrified my play-through might get corrupted :O.

I have uploaded 4 saves :

Before i entered the shop when i noticed the issue. Then another save in the shop.

Then another set the same as above after I deleted and redownloaded the mod.

Phew!

I forced windows to change to English (Australia) and rebooted and the issue is now gone.

Super strange!

Looks to have been a Windows issue.

I am unfortunately not able to reproduce this issue. Do you recall when exactly this started occuring? Did it happen when you first enabled Watchtower, or did you notice it some time after? Does it affect only weapons, or armor too? Any additional information you may have would be appreciated.

I first noticed it after I unlocked the apartment in stardock, but it could’ve happened earlier. It is affecting both armor and weapons.

If you delete the mod from your load order and redownload it from the store, does this resolve the issue?

I just helped a streamer do exactly that and it worked. He needed to delete the mod and restart starfield

I deleted and reinstalled both watchtower and McClellan, the issue remains and now the names for the watchtower missions now show lookup failed as well.

I have reported this issue to BGS directly. I believe there to be a problem with the "update" function in their store. If you selected download and not update however, that is concerning. I will add this to our report.

I tried again by deleting Watchtower and McClellan’s, hard resetting my Xbox Series X and redownloading the mods. Can confirm the fix worked!!

I'm having the same LOOKUP FAILED issue here. Somehow I managed to fix it by removing TN's M class shipbuilding from my modlist and the issues vanished, only for it to reappear after I downloaded Watchtower and Falklands systems. (So maybe something with shipbuilding is at play ?)

Also I can report that on PC the mod has trouble updating too. I download the patch only for the game to ask me to redownload it every time I launch the game.

I would try this method for both McClarence and Watchtower, as I believe the issues occuring for some players with McClarence are caused by the same Creation store bug.

I already tried this on PC before and it did not work sadly. I'll attempt it again and get back to you.
