Hello! Two questions, and an issue! One regarding crew, one regard Torin and a spoiler, and the issue regarding.. well, a combination of both!

Howdy and ahoy!
First of all, thank you so very much for the incredibly wonderful mod. It has very genuinely brought to life something the game was sorely lacking!

To the questions:
  1. Everything regarding the implants, and their mechanics!
    • Do the implants give benefits to a ship if a crew member is wearing them, including the player's?
    • Do the implants stack with one another if two crew members are wearing the same one(s)?
    • Do pilots and/or crew members on other ships in the Fleet also get those buffs for wearing them?
  2. So, at the end of the questline, Torin mentioned something or another about sending a message to some spot somewhere in the galaxy, long-range galaxy-wide ping piggy-backing off of Watchtower's infrastructure, yadda yadda, timey-whimey business, "We can get back together and still be friends after a Unity jump!".
What was the item that got put into my inventory that said where to send said message? Totally a me issue that I completely missed it - I'm playing about twenty centimetres away from a 65' screen and didn't look up in time to catch it!
Now, as for the issue, after completing the quests, I can no longer assign Torin to a ship. He can only come aboard my personal ship and no other. He simply does not show up on the Assign Crew menu at all on any ship. I can have other crewmates head off and pilot or join other ships, but I cannot get Torin to go do his job of piloting another ship, no matter what ways I try and reset him. I've sent him back to his post and tried to re-assign him, I've told him to go to Stardock and tried to re-assign him, I've told him to sit and wait somewhere and tried to assign him a ship of his own, I've had him actively follow just to see if it would make a difference.

Howdy!

I've given that rigmarole a try before (And.. a few times since...) and it hasn't jogged him back onto the "Assignable" list.
I've also tried getting things with and without mods, still no dice there unfortunately. The only two mods that would possibly conflict with him are The Gang's All Here and Companion Crew and Advancement Overhaul - but with either or both uninstalled/gone, still keeps happening.
It's not that huge of a thing, the rest of the mod works great! Torin just.. doesn't get to be a Starfleet Captain with a ship of his own. Karmic payback for some smart-alick remark or something he must of made at some point through out his backstory, I'm sure!
I can confirm we have a fix for this now in our first...
Hello! Glad you are enjoying the mod!

Cyberamps do indeed give your crew benefits if they are wearing them, and these effects can stack. They affect any ship they are assigned to, including your home ship. For a buff/effect to apply, at least one person on the ship in question must be wearing that particular Cyberamp.

There is no physical item - if you talk to Torin on Stardock after the final quest completes, you have this bonding conversation and can confirm there if you'd like him to follow you.

As for the bug you reported, which platform are you playing on? If PC, would you be able to attach a save please?

Ah, I see! Thank you for the info on the questions - I appreciate that greatly!
For the bug, I am indeed playing on on PC, and... find attached a save file from the current playthrough (Was originally saved as a .rar, but.. should be fine!) I unfortunately cannot seem to upload the file as it is too large! Is there somewhere I can upload it and link it to you?

Done! Thanking you most kindly.
Hi there, I have included this in your ticket, however we are unable to open the save with a mod list of this size. We have a guide on how to proceed in order to assist with large load orders. We could not reproduce this on a minimal load order, so unfortunately it does appear to be a conflict of some kind.

That would make just about all of the sense. I shall try to figure out which one it is and report back so it can be mentioned/looked at for other peoples' benefits too, should they run into the same issue!

Hi there - we are still looking into this, but we have a possible workaround for you if you were trying to use the vanilla crew menu:

- Talk to Torin and send him back to Stardock
- Ask him to join crew
- Player should now be able to assign and unassign him

Note that he should still be assignable via the fleet terminal. The vanilla crew menu is not something we are easily able to modify, but we are looking to improve upon this in a future update.
