Watchtower Installations Infested with Terrormorphs

I have attacked three different Watchtower installations that have either been decimated or are under attack by high level Terrormorphs. In one case their mech had been killed. It seems kind of odd, is it meant to work that way?

Yes - this is coincidental/bad luck. It's a roll of the dice what encounter or listening post plan might be placed down. We have five different layouts, each one having several encounters that can occur. The whole thing is randomised.

I don't mind the terrormorphs but they are awfully hard on the Watchtower personnel and for many a couple of level 100 terrormorph backed up by level 50 and level 70 are a tough row to hoe. Indeed, just witness their effect on the Watchtower people manning the posts.
