Stuck with Gren

HELP! I destroyed the base/space station and boarded Gren's ship made it to the flight area with Gren piloting says " it won't take long to dock with your ship " I sit, I stand and caught up in a vortex loop I guess, haha but seriously is there a fix?

If you make a save on his ship, and reload the save, does it then progress?

I did just that I reloaded the game and as a safety measure downloaded it again. I worked out just fine. Thank you for responding
