Gren's ship the Sledgeback can't dock with mine

Gren's Ship, The Sledgeback, can't dock with my ship once we've destroyed Heimdall. It just sort of beams, loops in that animation and nothing. I have to cheat-coc back to my ship but well, then the quest doesn't advance and Gren (with Torin as passanger) hangs around Heimdall's location indefinitely The special neuroamp and the disc Torin gives me at the terminal are then stuck in my inventory.
I'm using The Raven by Lighthorse as my ship. https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/6253 if that's valid info.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, sorry you're having difficulty here. Unfortunately this is likely due to the custom mod ship design, making docking difficult.

That being said - we have some alternate routes for progression here. Rather than boarding Gren's ship, are you able to fast travel? This should complete the quest the same as boarding his ship would. Alternatively, hijacking another ship and flying away should also allow for quest completion.

For this playthrough it's too late but in the next NG, if I don't remember to use a vanilla ship, I'll do that.
