Storage on space station in pizza

after taking the elevator up there is a container with a few credits in it marked in red, I have been storing the watchtower bits in there, no problem but IF you put anything like helmets or armor in it, it turns red. I have no wish to steal so helmet and armor was dropped outside in the room on the floor. any ideas how-to get around things turning red?

There are three storage containers intended for the player to use. One is next to B.A.B.S., one is in the clinic and the other is in Gwen's workshop. They are labeled Secure Contraband Storage. The one you're using probably isn't intended for the player to use.

found the containers, thank you! the stuff I had in the other container disappeared, bummer as there were like 18 goodies plus one computer core. not sure how that will affect the playthrough though

The loss of one computer core shouldn't matter. If you're trying to upgrade Stardock, I found that going after minor arrays and collecting as much intel for Harper sped things along faster than turning in computer cores for skydrops or cyberamps.
