Skydrop issues

Spoilers: Advanced sky drops, such as surface bombardment and AI robots, do not refresh when refilling at the space station. They will if added to a separate ship. Also, I had an issue where adding the module to one ship failed to populate the drop on the Starborn and a few other drops, but again, if added to a different ship, it was fine.

Hi there, I was unable to reproduce this with either BABS or Gren. Which platform are you playing on?

I'm also not sure I understand your comment about the Starborn ship, as modules can't be built on these.

Sorry, I forgot a word; it's the Starborn Skydrops. I am playing on Xbox Series X. Not sure if it got screwed up, also, as the ship I had the modules on originally had the issue with the ship being destroyed.

If the ship was destroyed, it would actually make sense that the values we track Skydrops on would all get zeroed out. The ship's being destroyed is an engine bug we've got in for help with Bethesda, but will likely need the game patched to resolve.

If you have since repaired that ship, could you try scrapping the skydrops and readding them to it?

I can't repair the ship after it was destroyed; it disappeared. I added the drops to a different ship afterward, but it remained 0 even after adding the drops back and trying to refill. I was able to get it by adding them to a third ship. To be fair, the second ship had a lot of the Skydrops, so maybe it didn't register.

I've seen some pretty insane ship designs COVERED in skydrops, so you should be good to go crazy on them. If they are on your homeship, they won't work though.

Could be that the second ship lost its pilot?

We try to have the game notify you when that happens, but depending on what caused the unassignment (for example another mod perhaps), we don't always get a notice in code we can react to.

I don't think so because some of the ones I added worked but not others. However, I will have to check it to be sure.
