Ship dissapearing bug?

OK so I started a brand new character to play through watchtower with.

The only ship I had was the frontier, so gren gifted me the sledgeback so that I could have a fleet.

I have since acquired the razorleaf, and the 2 ships from the darkstar mod. None of which I had to make my home ship to aquire.

I can mod them all in the ship builder menus, however when I try to make a different ship my home ship. I get the notification about my old ship joining my fleet, and to retrieve ships left behind I must visit ship technicians at any major city, and my original ship will be in my rosta of ships.

It however is not.

And If I then make another ship my new home ship, the previous one will also dissappear.

I was told this may be a known bug that would be fixed in the recent update. But ive just updated and its still happening.

This bug means I can not change my home ship, and I cannot buy new ships with losing ones I already own.
As you can see my ship count drops from 3 to 2.

Any ideas what's causing this and how I can fix it.

I play starfield mainly for building ships, and I can't really do that now.

This is not a pop up from Watchtower. I don't know if this is a pop up from a different mod (and if so, perhaps there is some kind of conflict). Do you have other mods that affect ships/fleets?

Ahh OK thankyou for your reply, looks like im going to have to try going though all my mods that may be prompting this. The only ones I can think of are TNs ship mods. So I'll start with those.

I've literally no idea. I've deleted all the mods that I thought would of caused it, but its still doing it. Maybe its a bug in the base game?

Just an update, I went through unity. And the bug has gone.

I can now freely change my home ship with no loss.

I had more than one ship when speaking to gren for the first time. So did not receive the sledgeback.
