There's hope given the feedback. Jake of sim settlements 2 didn't become romanceable until chapter 2 of SS2 after player feedback. That's when flirt options started appearing. Torin already has loves & likes which Jake didn't & a backstory that links him to the PC.- Vallis

KG mentioned on a stream that romance was possibly down the line if they could raise the gig limit I think. Honestly it's necessary at this point.
