Unearthed STILL Bugged, NASA still missing

I have done absolutely everything in my power as a console player to resolve this, with no luck. Unearthed: “Go to NASA” but every landing area including NASA and landmarks are missing from earth and I can’t progress through the main story without it. This is enormously heartbreaking since I’ve already invested a great deal into what has become an amazing Starfield run, and I can’t continue because one of my favorite Creations completely derailed my game.

Current run: Lvl 69 (nice) with completed Watchtower runthrough, stuck on Unearthed. Solid number of mods including Darkstar that hasn’t cause any issues to date until Watchtower and Unearthed mission. I’ve tried changing its place in the load order, disabling and enabling the mod, deleting and redownloading the mod, insane number of restarts, traveling to different locations, trying to land anywhere of note on earth such as landmarks that SHOULD be there… nothing has worked.

You think it might be related the Starborn Prisons? Whatever the issue is Kinggath, I’m really hoping you release an official patch soon because I got a really good ending in your Watchtower creation, and I want to see if Torin’s theory is correct, but I can’t do that with this massive game-ruining bug that a TON of people are experiencing.

I’m keeping this page open so I can check to see if you’ve found a solution. I have other things I can do in this run while I wait in hopes that you help me continue on my way. You absolutely deserve praise for this creation, just please, I don’t want to restart my entire game and lose all the progress I’ve made. Help me, Obi Gath Kanobi, you’re my only hope

I have been unable to reproduce this on our latest version (1.0.3). Are you certain this is the version you have enabled and you have not fallen victim to the Creation Store update bug?

Where you delete the mod and reinstall it instead of updating it? Yes I have. If you’d be so kind as to fully explain the procedure I’ll perform it and let you know right away, or provide you with any other information you need

You can check the version number in the Creation Store, open the load order there and it should display your current plugins and the enabled version.

The best advice really is to completely delete any affected Creation and then re-download it, rather than clicking update. Xbox seems excessively prone to this bug unfortunately, we have made Bethesda aware of this and I am currently collecting evidence.

If your version is 1.0.3, and you still experience this issue (I suggest leaving Earth and returning as well - I don't know if this is necessary but just in case), please do let me know and I will add any additional information to the ticket. If I had to guess though, you've been reverted to the original release version (before the fix was patched in).

The version I had was old despite my previous attempts (due to a known issue with Xbox not actually deleting mods). The version I have is 1.3 so everything checks out, but the issue is persisting.

I went to change its load order after the failed attempt, and found the version reset itself back to RC164? Deleted, redownloaded it and ensured it stayed 1.3 when it loaded up. I left the Sol system, power cycled/reset my console and ensured current version was still correct… and still nothing.

I’m still here to test out potential fixes and provide more information

THIS WORKED!!! Okay I’ve narrowed down the biggest problem which is that Watchtower is the only mod that CANT be deleted no matter what you do, or so it seems. I’ve been clearing and cleaning up my mods so I could try again before giving you my list, and I’m able to delete every other mod… but with Watchtower it immediately returns in its RC version over and over. Until this issue is resolved, you can’t fix anything. I’ve even tried saving my load order to Bethesda.net to solidify the deletion, and it immediately returned in RC form.

I don’t know what made it finally delete the old version and finally accept the new one, but I’m staring at the NASA location right now!!!

I just turned the game on today and first thing I checked was that 1.0.3 was the current version downloaded. With that being said I loaded my game which was at mars, traveled to earth and still no nasa.

I am also having this issue where the vanilla landmarks for the globes and NASA are not showing. I get the Unearthed mission and the blue marker, however when I try to go there it doesn't exist. I am on PC Gamepass. I do have the most updated version of Watchtower as I only installed it in August (or late July).

What version is listed for you? Unfortunately the date of installation isn't always an accurate way of telling what build you have, because the Creation Store reverts things to old versions. For example, we get multiple reports of people checking their version number and they have somehow got the very first release build, even though they only updated a week ago. If the version is listed as anything other than 1.0.3, then this is caused by the creation store bug.

Do you mean you removed every mod except Watchtower, or including Watchtower?
