Torin Romance

Please tell me there are plans to make Torin romanceable. That's it really. Sam is my go-to romance but I'd drop him in a heartbeat for Torin.

On a side note, is there a list of VA's somewhere? The VA's are incredible.
KG mentioned it's in IMDb in his stream this week (Sun or Wed...maybe both lol). Here's a link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt37022965/reference/?ref_=fn_all_ttl_10

(PS: I <3 your Rebuild work; I'm especially enjoying your recent plots/layouts!)

KG mentioned on a stream that romance was possibly down the line if they could raise the gig limit I think. Honestly it's necessary at this point. The way Torin is written and his whole backstory and connection with the PC seems like romance was always planned more than it was for Jake. Lets hope it's in the cards. And that they can get the gig limit relaxed. With starfield's plot and how the unity works there's endless possibilities as to where this duo's adventures could lead next.

I hope the size limit gets raised too, especially since I got the impression from people who've tried it that the New Game Plus version of Watchtower's story is incomplete.

There's hope given the feedback. Jake of sim settlements 2 didn't become romanceable until chapter 2 of SS2 after player feedback. That's when flirt options started appearing. Torin already has loves & likes which Jake didn't & a backstory that links him to the PC.

Agree 100%.

I had started work on a companion mod a while back that allowed him to follow you through the Unity, but I'm not a writer so I gave up. Trying to come up with the back story and all that just wasn't something I could pull off on my own.

I hope the limit gets increased and Torin does become a romance option, the two current male vanilla ones require certain quests to be completed and have more hoops than the female to be unlocked. Torin would be perfect for my current character.

Oh... While we're at it, I wouldn't mind a romanceable FEMALE version of Torin ! You know... That bond... It should be more than just friendship : romance through dimensions and universes ; what a great opportunity this mod is !

Sirick is an incredible writer. Truly outstanding.
His work combined with these excellent (charismatic as hell) voice actors is electric.

Can someone explain the size limit issue? Surely subsequent chapters will be separate mods with their own quota?
Romance doesn't need to be added to this chapter. Put it in our next adventure with Torin. Or the third, if you're going for slow burn.

I would say the entanglement between Torin and our starborn is deeper than marriage (in this universe, anyway). How many spouses have I left behind? But I can never leave Torin. Literally cannot. Not without a crowbar the size of the multiverse.

I would absolutely love a romance. So add me to your collection of beggers. But im also delighted with the deep friendship. As long as I get more time with Torin, and more of Sirick's delightful writing, I am grateful.

Bethesda limits the size of mods uploaded to their platform to 2GB, and Watchtower as we know it right now already used up all that space.

I understand that the limit is 2Gb "per mod", right! But the xbox has 100Gb allocated to starfield.

What I'm asking, is "why cant extended dialogue and romance and more quests and stuff be added to a next chapter?" A second mod, Watchtower continued, can take the story further, and include stuff like romance with Torin, and more voice reactions to the base game events.

I know @kinggath loves feature creep (and we all love him for that). But really we got more than enough already in this mod. We got way more than the value of 10 dollars too. Trying to crush more into the first 2gb is limiting, and starting a second chapter (second creation) will allow freedom to really go wild with content and stories.
Mods can pull from eachother, so the second mod can be dependant on the first (like SS2) and the first can check for files in the second mod (vanilla event dialogue for example) and trigger it if its there.

What I'm saying, is that Kinggath and team are generously trying to give us too much in the first package, when they should be making new packages; new adventures.
Now that stardock is there and all the mechanics, imagine how much can be done with that next 2Gb!

I think Bethesda policy on paid mods doea not allow them to depend on others and have always assumed that to be part of the issue. Could be wrong about that but thats the way I understand it.
