I'm playing EEE for the second time, the first time I bribed everyone and this time I want to try and fulfull everyone's quest to establish the East Empire Company in their territories.
For Jarl Elisif, it requires access to Rot-Gut inside of Cidna Mine. The "Escape From Cidna Mine" quest is one I typically avoid in playthroughs, so I'd like if there was a way to access him without being arrested.
P.S. Rot-Gut attacks you on sight, which doesn't mesh well with Escape From Cidna Mine's quest in my opinion.
What I'm thinking is, you speak to the Jailor and say something like "I'm here on behalf of the East Empire Company." and "I/We require access to a Prisoner by the name of Rot-Gut."
To which the Jailor will either be hesitant, or refuse at first and you get a couple of choices.
1. If the East Empire Company is already established in Markarth or you have helped the East Empire Company's quest in Windhelm. You are able to use the Companies renown to convince.
2. Bribery (always works)
3. Persuasion
If either of these three are met, either a scripted sequence will play out, or a short fade to black plays where Rot-Gut walks to/teleports inside of the Jailor's "Airlock" and when the gate opens giving access to him, he attacks. Could throw in some filler NPC dialogue of shock like "The Prisoner has a weapon!"
Either way at this point I doubt they'd have any qualms about you looting his corpse.
