[Stuck]Control node in port in a storm

When arrived in the Watchtower facility, I enter in the Corvette to take the Control node but as soon as I take it the marker still stay at the node place and the quest does not continue.

Hi there, if you reload the autosave that kicks in when you enter the corvette, and try taking the node again, does this quest still not update?

Additionally, did the control node get added to your inventory when this happened, or did the animation play but nothing else happened?
