Stardock Is Gone

I’m on Xbox and have finished the main storyline. I’ve gone back to the system where Stardock is supposed to be (Piazzi) and it’s not showing up. In its place is a lone Spacer Coyote ship that I cannot interact with. Any tips on how I can make Stardock appear again?

That makes me think of the update file mismatch bug the game can cause.

You may need to delete the mod, redownload it, and go to a save before this happened.

I have the same problem. Stardock disappeared and the "monitored system" notifications on the map are also gone. This happened after the latest update so I used the advice above. I deleted the mod then exited the game and downloaded the mod again. That didn't fix anything. I can go back to a previous save and all that stuff shows up again but immediately disappears after I grav jump anywhere. I would love to get this fixed as I havent gotten bvery far in Watchtower. I don't have a very long load order--mostly Bethesda mods and some of the more popular ones.

I'm on PC--I've literally deactivated every mod except watchtower and the exact same thing happens. I walked away from the game in frustration but thought maybe by some miracle it would be fixed by now. Nope. I tried starting a brand new game and stardock and the "monitored systems" disappear in the exact same way. I have been completely unable to play watchtower and it's been an immensely frustrating experience overall.

The UI only displaying when not piloting a ship is a limitation we are working on, but it requires tools from Bethesda. It should not prevent progression in the content however. If the unplayable issue you refer to is the same that OP posted, with Stardock instead showing as a different ship, this does sound like the creation store bug that Kinggath mentioned above. If version 1.0.3 of Watchtower still has this issue for you, please post a save file so we can take a look.

Like I said before in the thread it is NOT the creation store bug. This happened after I followed all the instructions, deactivated all other mods and started a brand new game of starfield twice. I cannot possibly be the only person this is happening to. Something about the first patch released broke progression for new games and probably more. If you want to reproduce, I suggest someone start a brand new game and progress to level 15 or so as you would in the game and then travel to a level 15 system and begin the watchtower quest-line. After the first mission or so, stardack disappears or becomes unable to be docked with and progression becomes impossible.

We have not been able to reproduce this ourselves which is why it's been difficult to decipher exactly what is happening. Since you are on PC, could you please share some saves with us? That would be extremely helpful. Ideally, one with the bug present, and if you happen to have a save from before Lost In Transmission triggered, that would be very helpful too. Additionally, sharing your modlist will help.

the console command coc kgcShipStationStardockInterior suggested in the other thread finally got me past this and now the mod works fine thank god. for whatever reason, i only had to use the console command once. that makes me think it was just the UI issue that bethesda needs to fix as you described above. but i dont knoiw for sure. if i still have an old save where i was stuck, i'll post it
