Stardock Disappeared / Impossible to Dock

When I Grav Jump into the Piazzi System to Stardock, when I arrive it no longer appears. It eventually shows up as a location I can lock-on to, but appears as 12000+ KM away, and no matter which direction I fly, the distance just slowly increases.

This happened after the mission where
Torin asks for help locating a Watchtower Database at a Spacer station. When boarding the Spacer ship, after he reads the database, he asks if you want to fly back with him. I chose to go back with him instead of returning to my own ship. After loading back into Stardock and the conversation with Torin, when I returned to my own ship, it seemed to load in the middle of space.
When I went to "Undock", there was nothing to Undock from and I couldn't really move, but I could Grav Jump, so I just went to another system.

Unfortunately I did a bunch of other missions/content afterwards, didn't really think much of the issue. After hours doing other content, I went back to Piazzi/Stardock and had the above issue. Seems like it has to be related.

Hoping there is a workaround or a bugfix planned, as I'd be losing a ton of progress on my save trying to revert!

I'll try to take a screenshot of the problem and upload here later. Screenshot attached, sorry it's hard to see the distance to Stardock. This occurred on Xbox.

However, I also had time to update Watcher to the new patch `1.0.1 RC2` and now everything Watchtower is broken. On my two saves where I've actually started the Watchtower stuff, now I just see "Lookup Failed" for every quest. On my save with the issue reported above, Stardock is (still) gone, and on the map it just shows Stardock as a "Watchtower Array".

On another save that I had a character parked at Stardock, the station is still there but when locked on/highlighted, it says "Your Fleet Location - Planet". I docked and went to the fleet terminal on the station and it doesn't work at all, buttons appear that are for opening/closing doors, and a bunch of other unrelated stuff.

I tried loading another save where I haven't even started the Watchtower stuff, and I can't even get the first quest to start.

Deleting the mod and redownloading it fixed the "lookup failed" and other issues, but not the Stardock disappearing issue.

I found a save where my character is on Stardock immediately
after the mission to get the database with Torin, where you return to Stardock on the spacer ship that Torin flies.
When I go to board my ship, it isn't docked to the station, it's out in limbo somewhere.

Hi there, just checking in. Have you been able to progress yet with this? Unfortunately we still haven't been able to reproduce this ourselves. We do think we know what may have happened - and if we are correct, then patch two should have fixed this.
 
Are you on PC or Xbox? Also, could you provide some more information please? E.g did this start happening randomly, or was it only during Lost In Transmission? And finally, are you on our latest build, 1.0.2v4?

I am on an XBox. I have the latest download. It would not re-appear after I accompanied Torin back to Stardock. I just loaded an earlier save.
 
I encounter the same bug, I am on PC.
The last Watchtower quest I finished was The Stars Have Eyes.

With the console command coc kgcShipStationStardockInterior I was able to return. You need to use fast travel to get out of there because your ship will not be dock there.
 
Thank you for the updates. I have opened a ticket for us to investigate this issue. I noticed that you share a couple of mods in your load orders, will see if either of those have an impact.

Do you have reproduction steps for us? Does Stardock simply fail to appear from the very start, or later on? And does it appear but you're moved at an inaccessible distance etc?

The last Watchtower quest I finished was The Stars Have Eyes. I have followed some of Harpers leads and destroyed some Arrays. The Lost In Transmission quest was not yet triggered.
I wanted to replenish my Skydrop Flares so I wanted to travel back to the Stardock. When I travelled to the Stardock marker on the map, the Stardock was 13k km away (see Attachment of my first post.) Flying away and returning has no effect. Flying towards it reset the number after flying for ~1000 km.
When Lost In Transmission quest was triggered, the quest marker did not help me fast travelling toward it. So I now use the console command coc kgcShipStationStardockInterior to return to the Stardock (I was able to continue the quest).

I didn't pay much attention when leaving but when I returned to add skydrops the station isn't there. There is an inert Spacer Coyote just sitting there, not sure if that helps narrow down what might be happening. I have Starfield v1.15.216.0, Windows 10 PC. I have held off updating Starfield for mods to get updated.
Using "coc kgcShipStationStardockInterior" has provided a work around.

Can you please confirm if you are on our latest build, 1.0.3? I have seen similar reports before caused by the creation store bug. If this problem still persists on this build, please could you send us your modlist and a save file?

Thank you for the report, I have added your information to our ticket and included your load order. Unfortunately this is still not something we have been able to reproduce, so it's difficult to know what is going on and whether this is a problem our end or a potential mod conflict. We will continue to investigate, hopefully someone who experiences this issue can provide us with a save file. In the mean time it might be beneficial to batch test the mods in your load order in case of potential conflicts. We have a guide here that offers some advice on how to identify potential conflicts.

@Gil do you happen to have a save file we could take a look at with this problem in effect?
 
As I just posted in another thread, this issue is likely widespread and cannot be all that difficult to reproduce. I suggest starting a brand new game from level 1 and progressing through that way.
