Sledrig and dragon stuck in parlay

I seem to have an issue after saving Sledrig and Volgafsaanon but now they're not ending their chat. I have completed this in another run and got the tablets for both but I think it glitched this time. And so you know, I am on Xbox.

Just to confirm - after speaking to them both after choosing the "restore their souls" path, the quest did not complete at all? Or do you mean, the final quest did not start up via courier appearance at a city/town a day later?

They both have their souls restored and no courier shows up to tell me to go meet Sledrig to get his summon tablet.

UPDATE -- I figured out what happened. So I use a mod called The Dark Arts that lets you be a necromancer and I get tired of the couriers popping in whenever so I'd always kill them and take their stuff. This was all good until I guess I killed the courier that delivers for the Bard's mod and it also affected all couriers somehow. Well, I disabled the Dark Ritual mod and the courier showed up dead in Whiterun, so I resurrected him and he then gave me the note for Requiem. Needless to say, I am back on track again and hope this helps others in the future.

I typed it wrong, the mod's called The Dark Arts. But I am glad I got it working again, I have a ton of time in this play
