Like I usually do 1st Monday morning, I launched Starfield, went to Creations and select to Update All Creations" and it showed both Watchtower and the Community Patch were going to be updated. After it updated I'm pretty sure it listed the version as 1.01 RC2 (apologies I did not grab a screenshot 
)
However now when I check, it lists RC164 as the version.
Perhaps the Creation "server" resolved the broken update function. Dunno
EDIT: The above happened early this am. Just now I checked to show which mods had updates. Both Watchtower and the Community patch were displayed so I updated both (again, so twice today). Screenshot is now what my current version shows.
