My mech is riding my ship

Hi Kinggath team,

I’ve recently discovered AI mech drops which are awesome. However if the mech is still operational after I leave a battle the mech is now riding on top of my ship’s cockpit.

Although this is hilarious, is it intentional?

It took me ages to work out what the strange noise coming from the cockpit was only to zoom out to find my mech astride my ship like a robotic Dragonborn…

Hmm, I now seem to have a critical bug where the Watchtower creation has deleted itself. I’ve tried downloading it 3 times with each time failing reporting I don’t have permission and it has tanked my bethesda download allowance.

Please help.

Did you run the game as Admin? that tend to be the fix for it.

I remember Vasco was doing the same thing on a earlier build of Starfield (vanilla)

Something about robots urges them to ride ships.

Vanilla starfield, I have had a cage brain from one of the planets ride my ship after take off and keep attacking. I had to land on same planet (game thought I was in combat) and then use starborn gravity power to separate it from my ship so that I could kill it.

Me too! We've had a handful of reports about robots continuing to follow and never been able to reproduce it ourselves. Fortunately I could reproduce it on this player's save.

Thank you to everybody for your patience as we tackle these bugs - it's especially challenging when we are unable to trigger them ourselves, so every bit of information or useable saves files is very appreciated. I opened a ticket for this with the provided save and hope we can resolve it in a future patch.
