More than one Listening Post on the same map?

I landed to take on a Charlie listening post, and right next door was a Beta LP, however the Beta did NOT appear on the global map. Intended? Bug?

I've found that issue before. Sometimes I'll land and find a named listening post and then another one nearby that's labeled "Unknown". On one planet, I found four different listening posts. I entered all of them, but only one array spawned in that system. I'm going to guess these multiple listening posts are a bug. They don't seem to effect gameplay, just provide extra loot.

Multiple listening posts in one area is expected behaviour due to how the POI system works, which our listening posts are integrated with.

The map issue mentioned is odd though - when you say it didn't show up on the global map, was that just the LOD of the listening post, the map marker, or something else?
