Last Watch crash at Armillary Autosave

after entering the room in Heimdall station with the Armillary the game attempts an autosave and freezes. This bug has been ongoing for many months and occurs every time I try, even when I play either via cloud gaming or natively on my Xbox Series X. Is there any way I can disable the autosave so that I can finish the quest?

Unfortunately it's not possible to disable it on your end, but we have an open ticket for this and have been trying to identify the cause. This still has not been reproducible for us unfortunately in a test environment. Could you please share your load order with us and I will add it to the existing ticket in case there is a commonality in mods used.

I’ve had this exact problem. System is sluggish thru Heimdall, but it works, especially if I turn down FPS on Xbox X to 30. But the auto save at the armillary freezes the system instantly and every time. If I try to do a manual save before it, that freezes the system too. Happy to share LO — I do have Falkland, but I’ve tried with and without Falkland enabled and same result. Also, I’m definitely running latest update to Watchtower.

Here it is ... I have a save that's just before the autosave at the armillary. I tried it with everything above Watchtower disabled. And I tried it with and without Falkland enabled. I also tried leaving the solar system and creating another save and then experimented with the various mods disabled as described above, though I know that's not enough to reset a conflict that was already loaded into Heimdall Station when I first arrived.
