Last watch armillary breaks then nothing else happens

I threw the sky drop into the armillary and it broke apart but nothing else happened the quest didn't progress or anything nor did it's health deplete is this a bug or I'm I missing something here?

We've had a number of reports similar to this that were caused by the mod Cheat Terminal. Do you happen to be using that mod currently?

Specifically it seems to be God Mode causing issues, however it is possible that other settings can cause a problem.
