How do I obtain a Fleet Manager for my ship from Gren?

I am fairly well into Watchtower, but have never been given a Fleet Manager to put on my ship. I have three ships but cannot add them to my Fleet because I do not have a Fleet Manager installed on my ship.

Those should be available in both your outpost and ship decorators. If something is blocking them from showing up, just go back to Stardock and use the terminal in Gwen's workshop.

As LostInWhere mentioned, there are craftable versions of the terminal available. This unlocks the first time you talk to Gren after completing The Stars Have Eyes.

You should be able to craft one anytime you take command of a new ship and have access to the ship decorator.

You should be able to go into your ship decorator and delete it. However, there is no need to delete it. You are not given just one terminal. After you complete Stars Have Eyes and talk to Gwen, the ability to craft the fleet terminals is unlocked for both ship decorators and outposts. You can craft one at every outpost and player home you want and all the ships in your fleet. It's not just one terminal that you have to drag around from ship to ship.

I would love to see the terminal updated, with a listing of all ships and who is assigned to each one. Current one keeps you guessing unless you take notes on abilities of each crew assigned to which ship

I noticed the starborn ships are sorta null and void. Should the player make a normal ship as home? Once you transfer fleet manager to a "new" ship does it disappear from the old home ship?
