Cannot dismiss Torin as a follower

Playing the PC version of Starfield and I am unable to dismiss Torin as a follower. I haven't finished the questline. I've tried sending him to the Stardock and I've tried to send him back to his post which he is a crew member on my Home Ship but he still follows me. This is a modded play through and I am using The Gangs All Here Follower mod and Improved Follower behavior mods but I didn't see any documentation on this site listing those mods as possible conflicts to Watchtower.

Hi there - there are certain instances where Torin acts as a permanent follower - during the quests 'Lost in Transmission', and partially during 'Last Watch'.

If this isn't the case for you, could you please share your modlist with us, and if you are on PC, a save file where Torin is stuck as a follower?

I had this problem but was able to work around it by assigning Torin as the pilot for one of the ships in my fleet. During the assignment I got a dialogue option to remove Torin as a follower. I am also using The Gangs All Here.

I think this is a Gang's All Here mod. I am using it as well and I can't dismiss any followers except the Constellation members. It worked fine on my first playthrough but now on new games plus it is not allowing dismissal of others. I've been having this issue before I installed Watchtower as well.

I've used The Gang's All Here since creating it and had not been able to reproduce the issue of crew not dismissing, but as I was working on the 4.0 update I finally reproduced it. v4.0 will fix this issue of not being able to dismiss crew members. v4.0 is a huge backend update, basically rewriting scripts because I have modified how everything works in the last few updates so the scripts need to be cleaned up and optimized. The scripts are all done but I need to test before releasing v4.0 so it will probably be a couple days before it's done. However, if you have v3.8 or newer you can use the Panic Button to dismiss everyone. I had added it because I couldn't reproduce the issue of having stalkers and it will force dismiss all followers.
