Noticed in my mod manager that kinggathcreations_spaceship.esm isn't actually flagged as an esm. Out of curiosity, what is the reason for this?

ESM doesn't have the ESM flag?

Solution
The esm flag is automatically forced by the game for files with the .esm extension. We avoid adding it so we can more easily convert the esm into an esp so that various plugin editing tools (CK, xEdit), could edit the file, as normally they cannot edit esms directly.
