conflicts

Hello, and welcome to the forums.

Known issues currently include JS Instruments of Skyrim (for which there is already an "unofficial" patch on our discord, and plans to fix this in the first BCE patch too).

Currently under investigation are conflicts with some elements of the "Nolvus Ascension" modlist and "Gate to Sovngarde" modlist. We encourage reports of any conflicts with mods or modlists, as we'd like to patch any that we can, or support community patches if any are required.
 
I am not aware of any definites yet, as it can take some time narrowing down conflicts. We have a mod conflict discussion channel on our discord.

Many thousands of mods were tested against BCE during the QA phase, and fortunately the vast majority have not caused problems at all - ones that do tend to affect things such as the Solitude worldspace, or the instrument models.
 
It appears to be a mesh replacement from JS Instruments of Skyrim with a new mesh that seems to have different UVs, leading to texture issues as the textures for the instruments added on BCE would be designed for vanilla mesh UV maps.

On the Discord, @Spacedroner has a patch to have BCE use a copy of the vanilla mesh
Not sure if there's a better way to do this but here's a workaround patch for any drum/flute/lute replacers. It points the BCE instruments to a copy of the vanilla mesh so you should be able to use any replacer you like
This might be added onto Bards College Expansion - Unofficial Patches in the future
