Computer cores missing from game

Hi guys. Maybe somebody had the same experience.

I am on Xbox Starfield NG+3, recently installed Watchtower. Really enjoying the stuff but noticed after the first five or so, there are no computer cores to be found.

Not on bodies, not on destroyed ships, mechs, boxes etc. Zero cores. I must have destroyed 25 listening posts and arrays but no luck.

I took it as normal but I can't upgrade the fleet or skydrops. I tried deleting the dlc and then downloading again. Didn't work. Tried to change the load order, so watchtower is at the top (I only use one other mod - sub orbital shuttle) no luck either. I'm at a bit of a loss here.

Hi there, sorry to hear you're having issues. To be clear, the only mods in your entire load order are Watchtower and Sub Orbital Shuttle?

Yes exactly I used to have Demog as well. But I reinstalled that.

No not yet. The mission is active. I can't talk to Gren or Torin though. Gren is busy and Torins dialogue does not go any further than "Keep doing what you're doing"

Ah okay, that's why there are no computer cores - they spawn in when the quest completes.

So the issue is that this quest is not completing for you? Have you been to Altair etc?

I have - got the parts etc. I used the first few cores to get the skydrop and have one ship for my fleet. Used one to get the cyberamp. Torin doesn't offer any dialogue options when I talk to him though and Gren doesn't either.

Hey there! When you say Torin has no dialogue, do you mean that he cannot be spoken to at all or that none of the presented options advance the quest? From the above it sounds like the latter, if so what happens exactly after he says that line where he tells you to keep doing what you're doing? Do any other dialogue options come up?

I can talk to him but he doesn't have any other dialogue options coming up or advance the quest. He just says to keep doing what I'm doing and that's it. Been a couple of hours now though oh and then there is the option to dismiss him as a follower as well. But nothing happens when I do that.

I solved it guys. I deleted watchtower from my load order. Reinstalled. After talking to him, Torin somehow properly follows me now. Sorry for wasting your time guys and many thanks for the help!
