Cheat Terminal Safe to Use with Watchtower?

Hello, Just got Watchtower but haven't started play with it. I see there is an issue of having Cheat Terminal installed and using WT. Is it just if having God mode active or are there other parts that if used can cause issues with WT? Thanks for taking time to answer.

As far as we can tell, the only issue with Cheat Terminal is God Mode. It's implementation can cause tons of scripts to stack up and block the game from completing basic script tasks.

We'd had others report that uninstalling Cheat Terminal helps their game, but it's not a good idea to uninstall mods mid-character. Also, we've done a deep dive on Cheat Terminal, and haven't found anything about it outside of God Mode that are obviously a problem.

Since release I do believe we've had a few reports that settings outside of god mode can cause issues, though unlike with god mode there's not as clear a cause unfortunately. Personally I'd advise avoiding it altogether, but if you do go ahead with it it's something to keep in mind if things start to break down.

Thanks so much for the clarification on this and so quickly. Once I had installed WT and started up SF I did experience a great deal of stuttering while on a Darkstar Landing Pad just outside of New Atlantis. It was pretty profound. But once I backed out of the game with a hard exit and restarted all the stuttering went away like it never happened. Thanks for all the hard work put into this.
