Can't add new Skydrop modifications after "The Stars Have Eyes"

After completing the quest "The Stars Have Eyes" and unlocking a new a new Skydrop type, there is no way to add it to a ship.

BABS list of ship modifications doesn't have any of that modifications/parts listed, and Green just says he is too busy. I was able to add the first Skydrop part, but nothing further.

This is on Xbox Series X. I have a few other mods installed but nothing that really changes shipbuilding so I'd be surprised if it is a mod conflict. Have tried reloading and leaving/returning to Stardock.

Hey there! From what you describe it sounds like the quest is still running in some form. Have you spoken to Harper or Torin at this point?

I may have misunderstood, it seems like that only Gren has access to the Skydrop equipment tab and not BABS.

An odd choice honestly but I guess it isn't really a bug.

Ah, that may explain it. During the quest Gren says he'll update BABS, so I fully expected BABS to have that option at that point. In short, it is bugged since BABS definitely should be able to do that right then and there if the character is going to say she does. Might even be a game engine limitation that requires us to exit Stardock before it can even add that item to her list. I will go back to Gren to see, but I expect you are right about that.
