[BUG] Watchtower breaks Unearthed Main Quest (NASA Launch Tower)

I started a new playthrough to enjoy Watchtower and when I reached Unearthed in the Vanilla Main Story, the NASA Launch Tower would not spawn. After rigorously testing my mods, it turned out Watchtower (for some reason) prevents the NASA Launch Tower from Spawning in.

Hi all, we've received a save file we're able to reliably reproduce from, and indeed changing the overridden and master worldspace records does seem to be a workaround. Unsure as to why that is exactly, seems to be an engine bug of some kind. But in any case I can say we'll have a fix for this from our end in patch 2.
I'm having the same issue. The NASA Launch Tower doesn't spawn. It is keeping Landmarks from spawning as well. I believe it has to do with the edits that were made to EarthPlanetData [PNDT:0005DEB5]. All the Master Worldspaces were removed and placed into Added Worldspaces.

If you are on PC, you can use the console to get through it.

And finally move the Hunter and Emissary to you so you can talk to them.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon, but at least this will let you get through it if you are on PC.

Yes, I was able to fix this by adding back the worldspaces to EarthPlanetData [PNDT:0005DEB5] Master Worldspaces and adding the KgcShipStarbornPrison03World "Starborn Prison" [WRLD:010C73B9] to Added Worldspaces. All my landmarks and the NASA Lauch Tower are now showing up in my save.

My load order probably wouldn't help. 90% of the mods I use are my own and most of them aren't published. I'm not sure why the patch I made fixed it if that particular record wasn't the issue, but I'll dig into it some more and see if I can figure it out. I'll update here if I find anything.

EDIT: So it didn't take long. I had already started digging into this before posting. I started a new game with only Watchtower and the Landmarks were there. I loaded up a save where I knew they were missing, removing the patch I had made, and they were there. Long story short, I don't think the patch I made for EarthPlanetData [PNDT:0005DEB5] actually made the difference. I think it was just completely getting out of the game and reloading my save. Sorry, newbie mistake. Looks like this is likely a case of Starfield being Starfield. At least in my case.

No, this was something I tried several times before going into Mod diagnosis mode. The only solution I had was disabling Watchtower (which would be silly since this new playthrough was to experience it from a new player perspective)
 
And... looks like I have the issue again. I really don't know much about how Planet records work, but after trying to restart a few times, I threw my patch back in my LO and they were back again. I'm running on little sleep so probably not the most helpful at the moment, but @sirboulevard if you want to try my patch I've attached it here.

Glad it worked for you! I'm not really sure why it would work sometimes and not others, but looking at the record in CK, it does seem off. My mods mostly deal with quests and companions though so the Planet system and locations are not anything I have experience with. First screenshot is of Vanilla Earth, 2nd is Watchtower and 3rd is from the patch I uploaded.

Anywho, I am not an expert on this by any means and this is about all I have to offer but hopefully it was helpful in some way.

Thank you for looking into this. I have passed this issue on to the dev team, we are continuing to look into this.
 
Did you all enable Watchtower and create a new game, or enable Watchtower during an existing playthrough? Trying to narrow down the circumstances under which this may be occuring for some of you.

personally I enabled watchtower on an existing playthrough (but I believe I did a unity jump after enabling watchtower). Landmark on earth stopped showing afterwards. Using the quick travel from mission log option leads to a random area, not the actual landmark.

Thought I was the only one experiencing this after the update and downloading watchtower. I can't progress the main story sins the landing marker for that mission is not even showing.
 
Unearthed quest is broken sins I downloaded Watchtower on Xbox. Unable to land on earth NASA specific location, unable to see quest specific landing marker (even tried to do the London quest that is earth specific. Same issue, no map location marker or landing marker is showing.)
 
I am having the same issue. Removing the mod fixes it but then if i reinstall the watchtower quests are messed up, which makes sense. Restarting the game doesn't do anything. I will add that watchtower was enabled before i started a new game.
 
Any of you having this issue, if you have a small load order (say less than 30 mods), we'd love to see a save file as we can't replicate this at all.

If you have a larger load order, than just posting your mod list will help. We can start comparing load orders to find the common mods and investigate how things are conflicting.
