Started a new game, which I haven't done in a long, long time. Found that I got hit by watch tower ships on my very first jump away from new Atlantis and then things escalated from there. Watch tower ships are landing on mist planets and then staying g there with open hatches. Nothing on them and the drops cannot be captured, but they are present more often than not. I am also getting ganked by fleets of 10 to 15 watch tower ships and I'm not even level 20 yet. I'm not even starborn, don't even have a power yet, just one artifact, so story wise it makes no sense that watchtower is seriously on my case already. From a game perspective it kinda forces one to do watchtower before anything else because the 10+ ships that keep jumping me makes it impossible to do anything else.
Really watch tower should not start in a new game until:
1) I have at least one starborn powers
2) I'm at least level 30 so that I have time to get the skills and credits necessary to construct ships and fleets and staff required to deal with the swarms of watchtower ships.
3) and really there needs to be some way in a new game to put off watchtower if one wants to run other quest lines first. It just doesn't make sense given the story behind watchtower for them to be repeatedly sending massive fleets of ships after one when one isn't starborn yet.
