Suggestion: increase the minimum star system level for kicking off Watchtower content

Seems like a lot of people are frustrated at having to battle through swarms of Watchtower ships while still having a low-level character. A quick fix for this might be to increase the star system level from 15 to something much higher, like 30 or 50. You're less likely to be wandering around these systems with a newbie character, unless you really know what you're doing. So you're less likely to be caught unawares by tricky Watchtower content as well.

Perhaps even have it as a gameplay-setting, preferred level start.

I was just about level 8 when I encountered the start of Watchtower, and I was not ready at all, but I had stocked up on ammo and with a lot of zig-zag and frantic heals I managed to do the intro. :) I had a lot of fun, but I think I probably should've been around level 20-30.

Agree with this thought but I would go much further. Why would Watchtower feel threatened by a complete unknown player. Surely a requirement would be that you have to pass through the unity at least once before they even notice you. In this way new players could enjoy a really good game before being jumped by a paid mod. My biggest point is that this mod relegates every single quest in the game to a secondary level. Yes I understand the you are supposed to avoid level 15 worlds but someone explain how to do that and get to the unity. An on/off option in the game settings may also be an option.
Now, and people are going to hate me for saying this, another option is for Kinggath to get his own game and stop riding on the back of Starfield.

Having it work only on NG+ is probably too gatekeeping; you're basically cutting off the content from a huge chunk of the playerbase. Don't forget that the great majority of players never finish the games they start, never mind doing a replay. It's not just Starfield, but games in general.

I like Watchtower but I love Starfield and I just hate the way that the main plot is relegated to a sub plot. Some way must be found to make it a lot harder for watchtower to notice the player. Maybe it can be after the player gains so many powers or maybe tie it into when the player travels to the ancient ruin after the hunter mentions "unity".
