Sha'khar Not Showing Up

I have in-game evidence of the EEC in Whiterun (crates with the logo, etc), but no sign of Mr. Khajiitie Kitty. I've cleared two mines, Bleak Falls and then Embershard. Map even says cleared on both. I've hung around the exit, looked all over the area to see if maybe he's on his way or stuck... He's just not there.

I'm using the Nolvus Ascension list. Just straight that, nothing extra except for EEE and the patch that goes with it on CC. Fresh playthrough, just restarted last week after some years away from Skyrim.

Hi there - since Nolvus uses a downgraded version of Skyrim, you may find this post helpful.

Additionally, if you haven't already, it's a good idea to grab the latest patch for EEE which released a few days ago.

Thanks! I'll try out the solution listed there and see what happens. May be several days before I can see if it worked, tho. I'll let you know if it does *fingers crossed*. I was wondering if it had something to do with it being a downgraded version.

I did update the patch a couple of days ago.

Came back to say that it worked like a charm.

Side note: I found I also had to copy the EEE files (including the patch) from the Steam folder it put it in into the appropriate Nolvus folder. Otherwise, Nolvus can't see it (when I realized my brain had blanked on that bit, I gave myself a right good sideeye, lol).
