Really not impressed

I found this an utter pain to play. It hijacks the game, so that you can't just pick and choose missions without getting constantly attacked. The story seems dull and uninteresting. And performance seems a little worse than with vanilla game too. Finally, I think it's too repetitive and combat-heavy for my taste. Shame -- I was excited (given how much I like Sim Settlements), but this one is not for me.

You're not the first person to feel this way. Members of the team have said elsewhere that they're going to add configuration settings for the difficulty and frequency of Watchtower ambushes in the next patch.

Yeah I play a lot of No Man's Sky and it's so nice to have a fleet that actually does something. I play on extreme and really enjoy the combat too.

I currently suck at shipbuilding, so I die over and over and over but here is a thought. Perhaps you could purchase a custom ship built to your specs from the manufacturer. If you purchase a car from a dealership, can you not add this and that before you buy it? Would love to see this done to spaceships as well as spacesuits but custom-made ships or suits would be expensive or require a quest.
