No More Space Encounters

Ever since Harper told me that I have destroyed all the listening posts, which happened prematurely, I have not had a single encounter in space with any Watchtower ships. I am still finding various Watchtower outposts, mostly on distant planets. I do have a previous report about Harper telling me that I destroyed all listening post after only taking out 5 or 6 arrays.

Watchtower ships shouldn't stop spawning until after the finale is completed - and even then, there is a rare chance that smaller fleet ships can be randomly encountered. Have you already finished Last Watch?

Which platform are you playing on? If you are on PC, do you happen to have any saves from before these arrays were taken out prematurely?

I'm on PC. I have many hard saves before and after the arrays were taken out prematurely. I made one save on 5/25 back at my home base on Earth. At that point I had completed Last Watch. What I had on my missions at that point was Watchtower Mayor Arrays with a list of 14 systems. Under Activities, I had : Follow Harpers Leads, Destroy the Watchtower Arrays and Locate Watchtower Array Hub Kappa. Is was sometime after that when I returned to Harper after following one of her leads that she told me that I destroyed all the arrays. If you look back at my previous report, the lead sent me to Ohann III which is a planet created by Radicalclownfriends mod, Star Wars Tatooine. When I landed at Listening Post Beta, there was a battle going on between spacers and watchtower soldiers The spacers actually seemed to be winning. So, I killed a bunch of spacers and watchtower folk, went inside and downloaded the coordinates to the array. Then the watchtower did a skydrop and sent two mechs and several pods with more personal. I killed all of them and returned to my ship. I destroyed the array and all of the ships. I then returned to the stardock to turn in the intel to Harper. She told me that she couldn't use the intel because I had destroyed all the listening posts and there were none to find. Then I went into my missions and found the mission about finding all the minor arrays and the usual long list of possible systems was gone. The thing is, I had only destroyed maybe five or six listening posts and arrays. I then asked Harper about finding an array without intel. Her answer was the same, no more listening posts left. When I went into my missions again and looked under activities, the Follow Harpers leads activity was gone along with any other Watchtower stuff. Give me a link and I'll send you a save after finishing Last Watch and before all the arrays were mysteriously destroyed.

Almost the exact same here but I do not have that star wars mod and I am on xbox. I had a huge list of array locations that would always pop up on the left side of the screen. I did something like 5 or 6 arrays based on her marking them on my map from intel and now have the same result, except I can't even find random POI listening posts either.

I was finding listening posts by going to systems that were to the far right of the map. I would land on a random planet, exit the ship and then go to the ground map. I was finding them regularly that way. I wasn't finding as many if I stayed within Freestar or UC space. When I went inside the posts to check the terminals, they all had a message to the effect of the data was purged. There were usually troops to fight and some times there would be a skydrop once you viewed the terminal. I'd go outside to find additional troops or mechs. But once I killed them and went back in orbit, there was never any ships.

1. Did you have to go to frozen/uninhabitable planets without life?

2. Did you find any computer cores? Because of the issue I am missing tons of upgrades and stardock is barely modified.

Sorry about the questions I just want to interact with the mod more than I have.

I think some were frozen, some were not. I usually did find at least one computer core after killing and looting everything. There is a way of getting the cores through console commands. Find out what load order the mod is by clicking on something while at Stardock. The first two numbers or letters of the ID will be you load order number. For me it was 3A. To generate the cores, hit your tilde ~ and type in player.additem xx03b2ca 100. Then press enter. Replace the xx with your load order number. The 100 is the quantity you'll get. You can change that to any value you want. One word of warning, using console commands cheats have the potential screw up the play through and the game. Of course at this point, it sounds like something went wrong in the game and rolling back or restarting the mod from scratch may be the only solution.

Edit: I see you're on xbox, so the console command might not be possible for you.

I ended up not rolling back and losing progress made on other parts of the game. Instead, since no more intel could be gathered, I generated 200 cores through console commands. I used more than half unlocking all Cyberamps, their upgrades and all Skydrops. Stardock is about as completed as it's going to get. So the big question is, if you've completed the Last Watch and you've spruced up Stardock, will you still be having space encounters with Watchtower ships? It makes sense that you should. When I find a Watchtower listening post and check the computer, which always says data purged, that often triggers a Watchtower skydrop of troops and mechs. If you're still getting Watchtower skydrops coming down on you, that should mean that there are still Watchtower ships patrolling. Will there be a setting in any of the upcoming patches to control the amount of space encounters after finishing the Last Watch? The main thing I like to do in this game is capturing enemy ships. Ever since finishing the Last Watch and having the arrays vanish on me, I haven't run into a single Watchtower ship. Basically, what would be ideal would be the occasional encounter with a reasonably sized patrol like you encounter with Spacers, Crimson Fleet, or Varuun.

It is possible to still find Watchtower ships after finishing Last Watch - it's just a rare, low chance. The upcoming gameplay setting will not affect Watchtower encounter rates post-main quest, it will only affect encounters during the main quest.

Is there any chance that in a future update there will gameplay setting to increase the Watchtower encounters post main quest? It only makes sense that if you keep getting Watchtower skydrops landing when you check out the purged listening posts that there are plenty of watchtower patrols still out there.

I'll pass on this feedback/suggestion to the dev team.

Same here, finished the main quest and not a ship to be found. (Also only did like 5 or 6 minor arrays and then "all where destroyed" salvaging and piloting unlocked per design but no ships to use it on!!!
