needle and lead quest not popping

so i have done the necessary extractions to get to the weapons part of the questline, but the Needle and Lead quest does not pop. i get Jasons speech, but no quest shows in my log

got the latest updated version from Creation Club

any help welcome, inc the CMD and quest Id please

Thank you, that worked. It looks like the quest started and then failed due to an alias failing to fill for some reason.

Do you have a save from before this quest triggered? If so, does the issue occur again if you continue from that? (And if yes - could you please send it our way?).

I do not any more, but did try your idea several times before coming to the forums
