How many minor arrays correspond to each major array hub?

When I look at the lines linking a hub to its minor arrays, it seems like nearly every star system in the game is linked. I'm not really meant to kill a minor array in every system to weaken the array hub... am I?

NO

I think that is one of the strengths (design wise) of this mod as the number of minor arrays you destroy directly impacts the difficulty of the major array fight.

So.... if you think you can handle a massive space battle then you don't need to destroy any minor arrays. <- I did that after I completed the final mission and it was a good fight, clearing the last two major arrays at full strength. But I had upgraded three of the Cyberamps to Tier 3; so I was rocking 15% faster repair, 15% increased shield along with 15% increased ship speed. My fleet ships also had 15% to shields and speed. During one battle, just one of my fleet ships dropped to about half hull. The other three were fine.

Oh, I'm actually having not too many problems killing the hubs (I may make a post about that); I'm just curious on how things are setup. Like, how much does each individual minor array contribute to the strength of the hub? After killing a certain number, do the rest make any difference? Etc.

How do you identify where the minor links are coming from? I have other mods which modify the starfield map, so I'm not sure if there is a conflict or I'm just missing something. Want to weaken Sirius because I get slaughtered when I jump in there with 4 powerful ships.

Each array hub is linked to the systems within its level tier. You can see the systems are colour coded with numbers that display their level tier (e.g level 10, level 20), and there is a major array hub per tier. So the number of minor arrays varies slightly per system tier. Some system tiers have 18 arrays (e.g 17 minor arrays and one major array), some have 14, etc. It is not mandatory to kill all minor arrays to progress - it just signifcantly helps weaken the major array within that tier. It's player preference however. The map toggle should only display links for your current active major array.
