Early Stonesong Grotto help.

So I stumbled into Stonesong Grotto without a quest and now I'm currently stumped. I got to the room with the stairs and trapped chest, but can no longer proceed. A blue crystal blocks the door and no rocks fall to open it. Am I missing something?

Hi there, apologies for the late reply!

Stonesong Grotto is mostly blocked off by a shout that is obtained during the BCE main questline. So in order to explore it fully, you must possess this shout and use it to clear the blockage you mentioned.

Ah I see thank you so much. For whatever reason the next quest refuses to trigger despite my waiting several in-game days. I have all three of the resonance tablets so I'm not sure if I'm missing another trigger somewhere.

After Of Songs and Shouts, Echoes should trigger three days later - you may need to fast travel, use a carriage, or enter/exit an interior, and you need to be in a town or city exterior (so basically - the same conditions as it is for vanilla couriers). If this is still not happening, it could be a mod conflict or other issue.

What version of Skyrim are you playing on? Could we please see your plugins.txt file, and a papyrus log from your affected game session?
