Bards Reborn and BCE

I love the mod Bards Reborn, but it adds a lot of extra furniture and important stuff for that mod. I can easily enter the vanilla cell, no problem. My question is:

1. Big V giving me the quest while using Bards Reborn happens a lot later after actually being a student and doing other things first. I am guessing BCE is only looking/sniffing for that quest to begin rather than interjecting into that vanilla quest with other quest stages? If it does alter that vanilla quest, please do tell me the particulars.

BCE does not edit the vanilla quests. It has its own checks as to the status of Tending the Flames but this is done independently, making it safe to install BCE before, in the middle of, or after completing that quest for example.

Most excellent. Bards Reborn helps flesh out the whole "so you want to be a bard, eh?" I'll just use the vanilla coc command to enter when I need.

I'd found installing BCE late to be safe, such as if partway through or after Tending the Flames.

I'd guess that there might be a "BCE Modified" patch at some point similarly to "EEE Modified" and easier accessibility to the vanilla cell could be something such a patch might do.

I have found the two to be pretty compatible, at least on Xbox, but there is one issue. BCE replaces the Bard's college with a new one, rather than edit the old one like Bard's Reborn, which still exists, but is inaccessible through normal means. Without console commands to teleport into the old college, I needed a mod like this one, https://creations.bethesda.net/en/s...2a/Fast_Travel_To_and_From_Interiors_SE_Xbox1 to teleport in. The alternative is to disable BCE until after you complete the normal exams from Bard's reborn and have started the Tending the Flames quest, and then enable it to get the new content, but doing it this way, you can't get back into the old college, so don't leave anything or anyone important in the old college, and make sure you've gotten anything you want out of it, like learned all the spell songs or regular songs you want to learn.
