I have run across this problem twice.
I have this problem of unable to board my ship, but when I go to my ship menu, there is no option to select a different home ship. On my other ships I have Delete, Inspect, Crew, and Back , nothing else. On my Home ship, Inspect, Crew, Cargo Hold and Back. When I deleted the listening post...- waky53
