You assign fleet ships exactly as I mentioned above - by expanding fleet size via Gren, and then adding at least one crew member to a ship of your choosing. So if this is not the case for you, this sounds like a bug or mod conflict and we would appreciate being able to take a look at a save file...
Unfortunately, I do think doing so has broken things and a unity jump is likely needed here if not a rollback. I'm sorry you experienced this issue - if you have any information or reproduction steps on what happened I would be happy to look into this. It sounds like a possible mod conflict, or...
We ran into a similar issue recently with other companions, and if this is the same issue happening here, then we should have a fix for this in our second update patch. Can I ask you folks experiencing this to let me know if, once this patch is released, this still happens for you? We submitted...
Hi there, can I confirm that you are playing on our latest patch?
We added a failsafe to the droppod chair to overcome this combat issue. You may need to click on the chair more than once to allow it to kick in. If this is still not working for you, you may have ran into the update bug...

Hi there - disabling mods mid-playthrough is not recommended except temporary instances when testing for mod conflicts. Did you happen to uninstall Watchtower, play the save, and then re-install it?
Me too! We've had a handful of reports about robots continuing to follow and never been able to reproduce it ourselves. Fortunately I could reproduce it on this player's save.
Thank you to everybody for your patience as we tackle these bugs - it's especially challenging when we are unable to...
Hello - yes, you only technically need one person per fleet ship if you would like. However if you utilize cyberamps, all assigned crew will offer benefit to the ship they are on.
Thank you for the detailed report, I will tag @kinggath here for visibility.
You can upload your saves here.
The update bug is a known one, and we have made Bethesda aware - sounds like it affects Skyrim as well as Starfield, thank you for letting us know.
Gren is located on the lower level - as you enter Stardock and walk towards the robot, if you look right you should see an elevator. This will take you to Gren's workshop.
