I have 2 Skydrop flares left and when I ask both Gren and B.A.B.S. to buy more they both reply that I am fully stocked. So, do I have to have < 2 (because I am purchasing 5) to make 6 before I can get more flares? Edit. Naw, it's a bug. I used both my remaining flares and I couldn't purchase...

First, great job, having fun. After given Gren the first computer core and making a choice for the new Skydrop (I chose turret), the screen blacks out then I thank him and he says Sorry, busy now. Come back later. So I am unable to add the turret Skydrop to my ship. I tried this several times...
