I found this an utter pain to play. It hijacks the game, so that you can't just pick and choose missions without getting constantly attacked. The story seems dull and uninteresting. And performance seems a little worse than with vanilla game too. Finally, I think it's too repetitive and...

Thanks. The trouble is that Watchtower ships are lurking around planets where I need to complete missions. So, I've unloaded it for now and will try again when I'm a few levels higher.

I just started a new Starfield play through so I could try Watchtower (big fan of SS2). Reading around, it sounds hard and I'm not great at space combat, so I thought I'd do a few missions, level up, and put some skills into ship combat. I'm at level 20 and haven't selected any Watchtower...
