Sounds good! Other than the problem with that one transition, Last Watch played out fine for me, both before and after.

I think I found a working compression app finally - attaching save file here.

I tried using Winzip to create a zip file to attach, but even after compressing the file I keep getting told it is too large even when using a zip application (though to be fair, the application is barely reducing the file size at all). Are there any other options for getting it over to you?

I think I found it. Falkland Systems Ship Services. I was going through the Creations first, one by one. When I disabled Falkland and loaded my game. I was able to enter the second area of Heimdall Station. I proceeded in for a few moments, then saved and exited the game. Relaunched and loaded...

Okay - I just finished comparing both of our mod/creations lists, and attached a copy of the ones both davspec and I use to this post (in case anyone else has our problem and wants to compare). Now to see if any of these could be our culprit... At least 28 mods is more manageable to look over...

I'm running up against this exact same issue in Heimdall. I'm going to try and compare mods with davspec to see what we are using in common, then see if disabling any of those mods may help resolve the issue. And since there's a two-month gap between our posts, maybe that will let me weed out...

I think I found out what my problem was! I loaded the mod up when I was about to start playing in a new universe, and I received one of the 'unique' beginnings at the Lodge that I had not encountered before (involving a hostile Cora Coe). When I got there, I was able to peacefully deal with her...

I've had some other problems resolve by deleting and reinstalling all of my Creations content to make sure I actually have the most current versions, but still no resolution to this issue. A fellow who's having the same issue I'm having helped me find the Quest ID for Lost in Transmission, so...

Possibly-Related Question: Can Lost in Transmission get 'messed up' if I go ahead and start taking out major arrays before I go on that mission with Torin?

As so many others have probably said before me - this mod is absolutely wonderful (and brutal at the same time, heh). Kudos to the team for this!! My apologies if I missed this particular problem with the 'Lost in Transmission' mission, but my searching so far hasn't found anybody else...
