Yeah, neither of those things happened. I missed that i had to go back to a save BEFORE the problem. Oh well, time to start a new character and hope that works- AdventureAri

Sledrig Stops talking to me just after finishing the bard party.
I finished the party with Helvana, I got the parchment/codex from the right person, and went to speak with Sledrig. He was in the classroom by the teaching podium, and not in his office.
